5 Steps to a Straighter Smile

Invisalign clear aligners provided by Valley Dental can be a treatment option for straightening your smile without relying on braces.

STEP 1

First Consultation

We will start the process by assessing your smile to determine whether or not Invisalign treatment may be a fit for you. Next, we will use our digital scanner to create a 3D image of your smile and what it may look like after undergoing Invisalign treatment

STEP 2

Custom Treatment Plan

Based on the decisions made in your first appointment, we will map out a precise Invisalign treatment plan with timelines. Your plan will include the predicted movement of each tooth that will occur with each set of aligners.

STEP 3

Begin Your Treatment

We will start by producing a series of customized Invisalign clear aligners for you to wear each day for at least 22 hours each day. They can be removed to drink, eat and floss. As your treatment progresses, your aligners will slowly shift your teeth into their prescribed positions.

STEP 4

Switch Your Aligners

Every two weeks or so, you will switch to your next set of aligners in your treatment series. You will also have brief checkups with your dental team every month-and-a-half or so to review the progress of your treatment.

STEP 5

Maintain Your Smile

Congratulations on your straighter smile! During your final appointment, we will discuss next steps, and prescribe retainers to keep your teeth in their corrected positions.
